Financial Derivatives- Definition Of Financial Derivatives.

Financial Derivatives products are a type of financial instrument that bases its value on the price of a second asset, known as the ‘underlying asset’. In other words, when trading a derivative product one is trading on the value of an underlying asset, but without actually owning the underlying asset.
